Resource Guarding

Course Summary
Resource guarding is a natural canine behaviour where a dog protects things they find valuable, such as food, toys, space, or even people. While it’s rooted in self-preservation, it can become problematic if the dog feels unsafe or misunderstood. In this course, we’ll look at why resource guarding happens, how to recognise the early signs, and how to safely build trust and confidence so your dog no longer feels the need to guard.
